Motor is a 2002 50 hp mercury two stroke Serial Number- OT560377 Model Number- 1050411ZD.
My problem is one I can't figure out. The motor will get my 1542 Polar Kraft up on plane and run 30 mph. But every now and then... its completely random..... it'll gain full power and about throw you out the back a run 40+ mph. But its rare that it runs under full power. It'll surge go to full power and then back to weak again. Fuel is good and clean. Carbs have been cleaned 3 times with no improvement, I think its something electrical. New spark plugs as well. Any suggestions? Don't want to take it to the shop but Im running out of ideas.
