470 power steering cooler

Hi guys,
Power steering cooler piece on 470. Mounts online on the cooling hose.

theres a Hydraulic type hose comes off pump I connected that to the ram assembly on transom.

Then there Are 2 branch line connections off of cooler look like 3/8ths hose connections. One goes to Pump, where does the other go? Has to be somewhere for it to loop.

merc Service Manual isn’t showing where those two 3/8 lines go. One was still hooked to the pump so I know it’s good there.

The cooler is on the return side of the system. One line goes to the tank port on the actuator, the other line goes to the reservoir

Thanks for the info, Found the hole on the ram. Finally seeing daylight. This project has been tough. When you are new to boats and you buy a project that is missing many parts. from an engine that had many mods. This forum is literally the only way I’ve been able to do it.
