Preparing for the weekend, still have one issue that needs tweeked.
In water, in neutral we are idling smooth 600, reverse catches and is reasonable
just into gear and maybe 700-800. But forward we are picking up some throttle by
the time the shift is complete, probably 1000 or slightly high, so it's going into
gear a little rough, and we have a pretty quick idle in gear.
After doing the bellows a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't going into reverse and
adjusted the lower cable (at the transom plate) a little, assuming I got it out of
whack in the gimble bellows project. Did I just over shoot slightly? Do I need to
adjust it on the controls up front? Should I be able to have an idling "crawl" in gear,
all my old outboards did so....
