I have a 4.3 V6 in a 1989 Four Winns. It idles fine but bogs and does not want to accelerate when under load. I have changed the fuel filter, points, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and rebuilt the carb. Timing is set at 6 degrees BTDC at idle in gear. At 3,000 RPM it is advancing to 19. Having tuned many V8 cars this number seems very low as they typically want around 35 degrees BTDC. What number should the full mechanical advance be?
