3.5 hp air-cooled mariner won't run

Hi,
I've just been given a 3.5 hp mariner that will only run when you put fuel in the cylinder and keep the choke on. Even then it'll only run for about 20 sec then stop. After that I have to pour fuel into the cylinder to get it to run for another 20 sec. Its almost like theres no fuel getting from the carby to the cylinder. Also where can I get a carby diagram for this outboard, easier if I can get a diagram on iboats but I don't know how to find.

Hi,
I rebuilt the carb today and got the motor running but It'll only run on choke, when it does run it runs at high RPM no matter how I adjust the air/fuel mix screw and idle screw. Any clues?
