Hey all,

Ive started to notice something weired when running my pair of volvo 3.0.
The ports engine retains a constant 150 on the temperature gauge, i cannot get the temperature to go any higher, it remains rock steady.
The starboard engine temperature creeps up tp about 175, when you can see the thermostat is obviously opening to allow the water to circulate, the temperature then drops to 150 and starts again?
This is noticed when cruising with the engines (only using 1300 rpm max) and when flushing the engine with fresh water after use.
I am concerned as with the engine that only reaches 150, i am afraid that fresh water is not fully being allowed to circulate.
The engines have only done 60 hours each, and i must admit the impellors or thermostats havent been changed, although the starbourd engine (the hotter running one) was repaired due to water ingress, where i flushed out the thermostat housing.
Am i worrying unnecessarily, or have i got a problem looming?

Probably nothing more than a thermostat stuck open. Replace it.
