Hi boaters. My boat hit hit the bait barge a lttle to hard. What's the best way to repair a surface scatch? Is there a paint that I could apply? Any advice is appreciated.

22trophy<br />Can you post a picture? If the scrape is 1/4 inch deep you may be over half way through the side of the boat. How far up the gunnel is the damage?

The proper way to fix it would be the grind out the spot,(feathering it out,cut fiberglass cloth in patches to build it back up,apply resin, sand it down and then gelcoat.Go to west systems epoxie home page, they have some info on how to do it.
