Some people seem to think that 2 stroke engines only use anti friction(roller, ball, needle) bearings. Not so, there were many outboards that used friction(bushing)bearings, just like the ones on a 4 stroke auto engine. They were still oiled like any non-DI 2 stroke
however the oil/fuel ratio is higher. these motors are 16:1 and 24:1 vs 50:1 of newer 2-strokes
