1999 Yamaha 115 won't run

I just purchased a boat with a 1999 Yamaha 115 TXRT V4. The boat sat for 2 years and has not been run. I put fresh gas in it and can't get it started. I assume the carbs are clogged up with gummed fuel but I figured I would check here first for opinions. I am going to check for spark first but have not done it yet. Next, my plan is to pull the carbs off and clean them out.

I just want to check to see if there is anything else I should try. Any help would be appreciated.
