1994 Force 70 Model Number

Hello,

I recently purchased a '94 Force 70. How can I find out what the model number is? The only information on the motor is the S/N, which I can provide if needed.

serial number will help.


The good news is there are only 7 model numbers to pick from.

HO70312PD
HO70312PE
HO70312PX
HO704124D
HO70412PD
HO70412PE
HO70412PX


Very little difference between these models.

All major components are the same.

The most prominent difference being the decal badging that was matched to some of the boat lines they were sold with, like Bayliner, Maxum, etc.

Sorry for the delay...I've been out enjoying the new motor. The S/N is OE125116. If you could, can you also verify the year, as well as the model number? I'm curious to find both.

sn oe125116 is actually a 1995 model.

So there were only 4 models made in 1995.
HO70312RD
HO70312RX
HO70412RD
HO70412RX

Mercury's parts finder isn't letting me search by serial number.

But I can't think of any real differences on those.

All parts for the 93-94-95 models should be interchangeable.

91 and 92 models used different tnt, ignition, throttle linkage, and fuel pump...
