I am trying to get accurate ohm and dva specs for my 1994 115hp 4 cyl the serial #0g073503, the problem I am having is th boat wont go over 3000 rpm's
if i push the ign key in for enrichment it will go up to 4,000 rpms and taper back down.I have already rebuilt mech fuel pump,rebuilt the carbs,i did take readings from the stator low resistance is 6,270, high resistance is 101.7
stator output(dva) 85 volts blue,57 volts blu/wht, 7.9 volts red, 7.5 red/wht. I have a feeling the stator is bad according to my clymer manual but want to make sure. i am only getting 143 volts to my switch box when cranking, the trigger ohms out good and so do the coils.any help would be much appreciated. I am also curious about which stator to replace it with either a cdi or sierra.
