Rebuilt the motor and I ended up finding one bolt that looks important and don't know where it goes. It is a fine thread and has an o-ring on it. The head of the bolt is painted like the engine block so I was figuring it went on the outside of the engine block. Thoughs? I feel incredibly stupid.

Looks like it might belong on the bottom of the engine.-------Fits in the bearing retainer plate.----There are 4 of them there.-------Also a similar screw is used to retain the bearing housing in the lower unit.

No Title

Found where it goes I believe. Item 14. Time to pull the engine block I guess.

The epic stories of my life continue. It was a false alarm. When I tore down the motor I removed one of these bolts from the old crank. Which is on my garage floor. After inspecting the crank I realized the missing bolt was from my old crank not the one in there. Sorry for the hassle, but this site is amazing for great advice and fast response. Thanks again.
