1989 85hp mercury force reassembly?

Have a 1989 85 hp mercury force that I just had a piston replaced. My question is after I put it back together what else do I need to do I.e timing, link and sync? And how do i do this on my outboard? Is there anything else I need to know? Thank you!

This actually should be in the Force/Chrysler forum. Although Mercury Marine built them, it's still the onld Chrysler engine
