I was using Pennzoil, then a gallon of Walmart Supertech, just finishing up a gallon of Pennzoil Synthetic, and will then open up the gallon of Amsoil synthetic.

Plan on sticking with the synthetic, either amsoil or pennzoil.

Hey Spectrummark,
I was told you have an 86 or so Bluefin. I am hoping you have a picture you would send me so I can see that make. Am considering buying one I found that might be a deal 4 hours from my home and the guy has no computer to send a pic with. Any insight on the brand would be appreciated too.My email is vx74@aol.com.
Thanks,
Glen

best 2 stroke oil by far is honda hp2. it is over $5.00 a pint though. its blue in color and people try to say its amsoil but it aint the same. your 2 stroke will have much less wear running hp2 . i use it for racing motors and have pulled pistons that should have been wore out but were still like new.
Quick silver made mine run like crap
penzoil synth. i have a case of and its ok since the price is right but it still smokes alot and is on the edge of fouling plugs if i aint careful. i dont know about motor wear using it yet.

Honda hp2, isn't it for aircooled engines? - yes
tc-w3 rated - no
For use a a completely different temp range than a watercooled t stroke outboard.

It ain't going in my motors.

Its great for its intended use, but not for outboards.

I really don't want to start a oil war here but do you guys that use Amsoil mix it 100 to 1 like it says on the bottle?

Most guys I know using amsoil are running it between 50:1 and 80:1.
