i just bought an 88 skeeter bass boat with a mercury 135hp that has seized up from overheating from lack of water.. to make a long story short the guy ran it out of water. i havent really looked into the motor too much.. i have an older motor for it (chrysler 120) but i dont care for the motor too much. i picked the boat motor and trailer up very cheap. what can be done with the motor? what needs to be fixed to get it running again? is it worth fixing? and how much will it cost approximately? thanks.
