1988 mariner 150hp mag II still running hot

I have changed out the entire water pump, new thermostats, and cleaned up the poppet valve, the engine is still running hot with scalding hot water coming out the pee hole, any advice?? please

Is the alarm sounding as the Xr4 and Mag II do have a hot "pee" stream?

Did the old impeller come out in one piece or are fragments stuck in the motor restriction flow?

Check the outlet stream temp with a thermometer and repost your answers.

Has the timing been messed with?
