1987 Force 125 Tilt & Trim

Hello All,

I have a tilt/trim problem on a 1987 Force 125. I tilted the outboard engine all the way up and then it would not come back down.

I can hear it "click" when I try to move it up or down, but the electric motor does not run.

I replaced the old, rusty electric motor, thinking that was the problem......it still doesn't work.

any suggestions?

There are two relays that if you unplug and replug might make it move.
Try switching relays and see if that makes it go.If switching helps.Then replace both.They are cheap.J
