1987 9.9 need tiller complete

I have a electric start remote controlled 9.9 and want to put a tiller on it need the complete handle and all the parts so I can put it on and run it any one have one or know what years will fit? Does it have a cable that goes to carb or is it a linkage? Not sure if this is the right place to post or not

Your motor's age puts it in the cable controlled timing throttle linkage series which went from about late 1985 up until 1992 & any of this series, (even though they may be slightly different) will fit. Your best bet may be to look on e-Bay or try a marine dealer that may have a motor with a blown powerhead or lower unit.
