With a hi-vol pump,what is the oil pan capacity .when you spin it that high aren`t you worried about no oil in the pan?

Ditto, You should never get a hi-vol pump with out a deeper pan with more reserve. You can use a high pressure but not high volume.

In my 383 in my Pontiac which I know sees a ton more abuse then your 3.0L, I was accually running my 1 step above stock Miloden oil pan dry with a high volume. I changed out the pump to a stock pump with a Z28 pressure spring and now I have an oil reserve.
