I don't know what to tell you, but my overheating problems seem to have been solved. Maybe I jarred something in place when I took my LU down, who knows. All I do know is, I can concentrate on catching fish and not worrying about overheating. My temp gauge goes to one spot and sets there all day long at anywhere above 2000rpm and I don't really care what fixed it, all I know is it is fixed after taking Johns suggestion. I donno? I've ran ever hot rod I've had since tha first V6 came out without a can and tha exhaust blowin' straight from tha tuner at tha pump and never had a problem other than tha melted guide tubes. Tha aluminum ones we use now have fixed that. But who really knows with some of thes Mercs
