Hello friends!
Well I got the stand built used the directions but didn't add the casters added a 4x4 under each leg so it will set higher and gonna add bigger cart wheels later..

ok I pulled the cover off the 70 and found this....

kinda dirty a few spiders... controls not connected...

so I desided to clean it up first.. I do know this engine hasn't been run for 12 years. but the PO did keep it under a tarp and kept the area very clean around the engine stand he had it on... also he said he put a chemical 12 years ago before he put it up for storage....

so on the the good stuff....

so after the cleaning I desided to remove a spark plug and this is what i found...

I about passed out they are very clean.....
for 12 years...
so i got on the forums and figured out how to install the control cables and I am ready tommorow to do a test turnover to see if it will do anything....

As long as it ran good twelve years ago, I bet it fires right up! I have had JohnnyRudes as old as 1970 and as long as you take care of them, they are almost indestructible. Make sure it is pumping water right away. If not, start checking the impeller.
