1978 15 hp Evinrude

Got a 2 stroke 15 hp EVINRUDE for a kicker motor. Ran totally fine the other day in the driveway with the muffs on. Took off and traveled 1.5 hours to a lake today with it in the box of my truck. When I start it it revs really high and then slowly dies like it ran out of gas. I added gasoline to it to put the tank up in the front of my 20 ft. Boat which didnt seem to have any problems at home when running it. Any ideas?

They all sound hood running on a hose.----Even on one cylinder and in gear.----There is no load from the propeller.-----Check for spark on both leads.
