Hey Everyone,
Problem:
I have an 1978 140HP Evinrude(140843c), and it only starts with a pinch of quick start sprayed into the air horn.
After it's started it runs and starts fine no problems at all, runs perfect.
I'd like to quit using quick start as it can damage the engine, any ideas why it wont start? (I've tried choke/No Choke, Hot start/no hot start, and a combination of both, choke and hot start works)
Things done:
Rebuilt carbs
Advanced the timing (was way to retarded)
Changed all fuel lines under the engine hood
Checked fuel filter / Pump
Changed the plugs (they are currently a nice brown color)
