I am working on 76 pro line 20'. It is a walk-around or center console. Has any one ever lifted the deck? I have a soft spot that i would like to fix. It runs a 1984 70hp envinrude the boat looks like it will handle well in the bays and rives in NJ. Is lifting a deck too much work for this old of a boat? Any advice would be great. thanks

I Have A 1977 Proline24 With The Cabin All The Way Up Front I Just Cut The Deck Up Last Year. I Needed Stringers And A New Deck. Took 2 Weeks And 1200 Bucks. I Used Teak For The New Deck.

Did the old deck come out simply by griding the edges or is there more to it? My goal is to remove the entire inner tub, which looks to be one part, and then replace the stringers and transom. The reason is that the deck is in good shape and does not have any cracks just soft spots.

Thanks for the earlier reply.
