I have a Chrysler, 1975 6hp, model 62HG. It does not have any way to turn off but to choke it. It has fouled out plugs. I bought a double pole double throw toggle switch to wire into to coil leads from the points. It should turn off both coils at the same time i think. Does any one know how this was wired to turn off from the factory? Or how to do it the right way if my ideal is not the right way to do. It may just shock the crap out of me the way i plan on doing?

Does this motor have an ignition switch? Does it have a switch for on or off?

Chances are then it was not designed with a kill switch and the choke is the only way to kill the motor. Jury rigging may work just be careful how you have them wires tied to the motor. If they get caught in the flywheel at high rpm it could cause some serious damage.
