You might try searching" winterizing a 2 stroke outboard".
Basically put a gas treatment for winter storage run the motor to
be sure treated fuel has reached the carb.
Change the lower unit lube. this is critical so to be sure there is no water
in the gear case.If the old lube looks like coffee with cream you should replace the seals.
DON"T REMOVE THE PHILIPS HEAD SCREW! Only the two larger flat head screws.
With the motor upright refill through the drain screw till it comes out the vent screw.put in vent screw
then quickly insert the drain screw. A couple of squirts of 2 stroke oil in the cylinders and crank by hand.
Lube the various moving parts.Any fittings where the motor pivots.
Any lube is better than no lube.
Motor should be stored upright so any water can drain.
If you don't know the age of the impeller(water pump) now would be a good time to rep[lace it.
Once new you can change it every 2 to 5 years depending on conditions.
