1974 Evinrude 85 hp tilt and trim

I have a 1974 Starcraft Super Sport with an 85 hp Evinrude and I would love to have a power tilt/trim for it. If anyone has any information on one, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can find a parts diagram on the Bombardier website: epc.brp.com. Since that system was considered an "option" these early years, you may have to look under the Parts and Accessories tab for year 1974. Those systems have been discontinued for years, but you frequently used ones for sale-on ebay. You might consider buying a junk engine just for the salvage value of the trim system.

The general consensus is that the CMC aftermarket trim/tilt are usually the best option for your vintage of OMC V4. The original units are somewhat hard to find, often expensive and have parts availability issues.
