I want to put an offset trim Tab on my sterndrive to make room for new prop. All the offset trim tabs I see are for the alpha or bravo drives. Will they mount up to my Model 165? 15" 4 blade Aluminum is what I am putting on.

don't know about the bravo tabs. but the alpha1 versions should work. or ya can grind what ya have down to fit.

that's my mc-1 drive with a prop that wouldn't fit. till i took the grinder to the trim tab... this grind it off method is actually the recommended method of making the prop fit. i've not read it in a while, but think it appears in s/m 6.

Same engine drive as you. First I destroyed an aluminum prop not checking for clearance, then I did the same thing and cut it with the grinder for my new stainless 4 blade to fit.

Wow that looks like the last one I ground down! Good job.

Ground it down today, and the new prop clears and it looks semi-professional. Should be on the water tomorrow and see how it all runs, unless some thunderstorms brew up.
