The most probable cause for stalling at slower rom is the idle mixer adjustment. Pull the idle adjustment screw out of the carb and have a look at it. It should be smooth and clean and have no groves or a ring. If there is a grove or ring you need a new idle adjustment screw and seat. If all looks good, screw idle screw all the way in "REAL GENTLEY". The gentle part is so you don't damage the needle or seat. Next unscrew it 1 and 1/2 turns and start there to adjust idle. May need to clean the carb
