No Eye Candy pictures yet this year. Most of what I have been doing is fixing little things that needed to be done. A couple questions for you guys-
Pictures:
1. Is this a pre-Alpha outdrive? (R)?
2. I'm trying to get my tilt to work, but I can't see where to fill it. The motor runs, but nothing happens-where would I add fluid?
3. I made a sweet sheer pin for my depth finder using a drill and a toothpick, It wouldn't stay down before and I'm hoping this will help-and the price is right for pins.
4. I managed to build a pressure tester out of my fill hose, a gauged bike pump, and a fitting. It worked great until I went to seal the pump better and ruined the cheesy aluminum threads on the pump. I have confirmed that the top and bottom portions of the drive do not share oil. I was able to refill the bottom drive oil, but I can't find a drain for the top. There are only holes directly across from each other on the top as far as I can tell.
any help would be appreciated, I put an update in my other thread this week as well. It has been a long winter.
