I just recently purchased a 1967 hydroswift with the johnson 100 hp 2 stroke golden meteor outboard and am doing some maintenance on it. the old spark plug wires were chewed on by some mice after being stored in a guys barn for a few years, trying to replace them and they are threaded into the distributor cap. this is my first boat and am used to working on vehicles. i pulled the plug out of the crimped end with the threads on them but the wires were junk anyway. Can anyone confirm Sierras part #18-5229-9-1 being the correct plugs i need.
