So motor broke down on weekend and I couldnt restart it.got it home and tried a few times and it popped once or twice,so I thought maybe timing is off.So I pulled the flywheel and the timing plate was not attached properly, I found 1 screw on the block.my question is, is there only 1 screw holding the advance plate underneath.I only took a photo of the top so I knew how to reconnect coils and condensers and points and cant remember how the underside went back together.any advice appreciated cheers.

There are 4 screws on the brass collar underneath the magplate.------There are also 4 screws that hold the magplate itself down in position.

Correct name for it is armature plate. Nevertheless, it mounts as racerone said.
