I acquired this 1946 3.6 HP Deluxe single Scott Atwater (461) today.

Can anyone tell me about what these go for when running? Not that I want to sell it, just want to know what I have. Also, can anyone tell me how many of these were manufactured, or where I can get that info?
Done some looking online and cant find a lot of info on this model other than it was the only motor produced by Scott Atwater in 1946.

Thanks in advance

I have not heard tha name in years. The engines are only worth as much as a collector is in need of parts. Most of which are nearly impossible to find. I hope your engine serves you well.

I recently picked up a l948 version which is very similar except it has a recoil starter. The one I bought was missing the gas tank and the recoil. I have it up and running and paid $30 for it. Hope this helps you with the value question.
