Hello

I'm new to the forum and I have a question.

I've gotten the job of maintianing my Wife's Grandfathers
Starcraft, Starting with replacing the floor. I have been
reading posts about this job. It doesnt sound to bad.

What I need is the year of mnfg. of this boat?
Starcraft, model/18' Super Sport VO/B-S serial/1007157
Thats the info off the tag in the boat.

I think the serial numbers from what I,m told have little to do with dating a boat,but this site has lot,s of experts so with a picture maybe they can pin it down.

Steve...How about a picture or two of the boat. It may help someone to nail down the year. Also the floor replacement in a Starcraft is a eazy fix. While your in there, check out the flotation to see if it is waterlogged. Check for pitting of the aluminum. You didn't say if it had a below floor tank, but if it does, replace the gas line.

Will get pictures, probably not till after the weakend. I gotta work
friday, And I got permission to go to the AOMCI meet in Constitine
Mi. on saturday. So sunday is probably gonna be "Honey Do" day
