150hp power head swap Q

will a 1988 175 black max complete power head bolt onto a 1988 150 hp mid. if so is it just a strait swap or is there some things that also need changing ?
as my 150 needs all 6 holes bored. shop want $400

only thing ya need ta do is buy a metal reinforced power head gasket ... tha exhaust on tha 175 block will be smaller than tha 150....

thanks faztbullet and Dukedog where would I find the reinforced gasket ? I guess I should get it for the 175 right? thanks again

thanks for all the help. I did pick up a 89 175 but it was a long shaft and I needed a shorty, so I swapped the lower unit. runs great. thanks again for the help.
