120hp 1989 looper fitting

I've recently rebuild the engine and I'm not sure where the fiiting in the picture connects to. I've looked in the OEM factory manual, the recirculation and bottom and top bearing hoses are hooked per manual. I have no idea where the fitting in the picture needs to be hooked. any advice?
