I'm having problems with my engine (EvinRude). <br />I want to buy a repair manual but I don't know how old is this engine. I have the Model No. (60173E) and the Serial No. (J01763). This engine has 60HP and is a 3 CLY. <br />Can someone help me with this?<br /><br />Thanks!<br />A. Navarro

Last 2 numbers of the model = 1973

Sorry to disagree but I think it's a '71.<br /><br />60173 60 1971<br /><br />Check Motor years

Sorry I stand corrected. I did not check this site. I thought they used the last to numbers before they switched to INTRODUCES. I used this somewhere else also. Hopefully it caused no problem. Appreciate the correction.<br /> :eek: <br />Mike
