took my boat out last weekend and noticed that when cruising, power from motor would intermittently cut out along with power to my tachometer and speedometer. It would idle fine but when i tried to accelerate it would bog down and stall at half throttle. occasionally would catch and take off like nobody's business. After slowing down and idling for a minute then trying to accelerate again the same thing happened... I haven't done anything to it yet but I am planning on cleaning the carb. I also plan on checking the compression and spark to each plug to see if it might be the power pack.
Any ideas of what it might be that is causing me to loose power?????
