mercury 1150 sparkplug wires

Hi everyone, this is my first post,I have a 1977 1150, does anybody know what the tool looks like to crimp plug wire ends at the cap, rite now wires are juststuck inside cap,I ordered correct ends from iboats in the beginning of the week, hopefully they will come today,I have replaced ends on car wires before, but they are openended, any pic or tool part # would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance

Most wire crimpers will have appropriate opening for spark wire.

You can buy wires at oldmercs or vintage mercs with the screw ends already attached. You would need to cut to size and attach springs and boots to them.

thanks everybody,I found crimpers in my toolbox that worked
