IMHO that unit was an abortion. They were fine when they worked but wait until you had probs.

Touch wood.....that unit is still going strong after 30 years, not a bad innings.....im still waiting.

Replacement parts are not cheap for the majority of systems......availability will also decline for the newer systems in time.

For the record, i agree with your advice to the OP re a CMC if they can afford one.....the question was asked if a system was made for it.....and i responded with a pic.

I've installed the CMC's and they are simple to install, less moving parts and really work slick.

Thanks guys. I'm calling around to the wreckers, hopefully someone has one. If I can't find one, I guess that I might have to go with the CMC or the Panther plates, just don't want to as I already have set back plates and the boat runs great with them.

Anyone have one for sale? Depending on price with shipping, I might take it.

That is for the V4 .... it is not going to work on a 2 cylinder .......... What will you give me for mine?

Yup tilt only.....its a very early system not often sighted.....i have seen them fitted to twins and triples though (that's a triple in the pic).....the only part available these days are replacement motors.

That is pricey ..... I would take a lot less for mine, but shipping may eat up the savings!
