Yamaha V6 Excel 1989 225 Will not run under a load

Took the ski boat out today and went to plane out, and it came out of the water like a bat out of hell, then suddenly bogged down and killed. Cranked it back up and when we put it in gear and went to take off it bogged down again, barely made it back to the launch. When we got to the launch we revved it up high and it did fine. When we revved it maxed out it made that 2 stroke YIIING and ran PERFECT. Only does the bogging down under a load. ANY IDEAS? Thanks

need more fuel to run under load,
check pumps,filters, clean carbs, check for water/trash in tank/system

It is not good to rev a motor in neutral like that

Thanks, will try cleaning carbs and changing all fuel lines adn changing water separator. Could this have anything to do with the engine being re-bored to 255hp?
