i have a 1987 21 foot renken with a 3.8l omc mounted to a 3.0l cobra....
prop suggestions please

ok guys,
i put in a brand new tachometer...
went out last night in fairly calm waters..
i am getting about 4300 rpm at WOT
speed is 23knts(27mph)
i am running a 3.8 litre omc with a 2bbl carb giving about 170hp
i am turning a 3.0L Cobra stern drive\
boat is 21foot renken cuddy
current prop is a 14x17

i am looking to get some more speed but still have some torgue for tubing very occassionally.
what do you suggest for a prop.

What is the gear ratio of the outdrive? or what year.Also need the speed by gps.
Regardless of the gear ratio the numbers don't add up.I'm guessing the tach isn't accurate.
