IMG_0717 (2).jpgIMG_0727 (2).jpgIMG_0728 (2).jpgIMG_0729 (2).jpgSo 2 of my friends and I wanted to play around, and check out local boats for sale in the area. Picked up a 19ft Bayliner Capri for $500 with the easy loader trailer (Which made it worth the price imo). Boat sat for 3 years, the engine was rebuilt 4 years ago, she got the boat in a divorce and it's been sitting in her yard since then. I've been trolling the forums and I have a few questions, as well as pics to post.

Of course some boards were pretty rotten, being exposed to the elements and such for 3 years, but there are no obvious holes in the hull or anything. We haven't tried to see if the engine will turn over yet, we did strip the carpet and floorboards out to see what we have, but after reading thru everything on here, I need to check stringers for damage as well as floorboards? What do the stringers look like? (Little lost here). the boards inside the cabin were all perfect (I guess due to being protected from the elements) but we cleared it out as well.

Thanks for that. I'll take a look. I don't see any water damage under the rotted plywood. Everything else looks to be dry and secure. I'll see if I can find the foam or whatever today in an hour or so. I'll post more pics.
