First Time Out With the Pontoon

Had a great time out with the "new" pontoon. The river was high and not many people out because it was Derby weekend. Didn't take too many pictures of the actual boat, but wanted to share our actual fun and excitement out enjoying it. Had all 3 "kids" with us and our friends joined us in their boat with their babies.
Thanks for giving us such a great place to come for information. We will be adjusting what we take and where its place is on the boat. I am sure it is an ongoing learning process that goes on all summer.

Beautiful scenery, and the weather looks perfect !!! I bet the "4" legged crewmate was dying to go swimming.

Great looking toon, Lorie. You'll get your gear issues settled in time...probably pack and re-pack a time or two as you make it a better mousetrap;) Best of Luck!

Yes Rooster, we were actually really worried about that 4 legged beast as he can be a bit of a scare-dy cat. We were so happy to see he loved being on the boat and wasn't spastic at all. So glad we can take him out with us and not have to worry about getting back to let him out.
Richard, all our friends have told us that we will change our minds each trip out about the best place to put things. We already switched some things around with just the first outing. Also have a list started about what needs to go out next time. This is all part of the fun though, right?
Our middle child graduates from college on Saturday. Is it bad that we are disappointed we are losing a weekend on the boat? ha Two weeks after that and the youngest graduates from high school. Gosh.... we just want to relax. ha

That just means you'll be saving gas money for the trip to Arkansas! Great looking bunch Ms. Lorie. Glad you guys are enjoying the toon the way it's intended. We have a four legged passenger as well, but she's about ten percent of yours. We dare not leave the house with the boat in tow without her in the truck. She's become quite the water dog.

A little dog would be easier, but we wouldn't trade him for anything. Do you have a date for the Arkansas fun times set yet?

I finally got off my duff and proposed one, but it's no good for Rooster so it will most likely be changed. However, I can't say for sure until I get some more responses. Here's the thread. Check in on it periodically for relevant info and lots of silliness.
