chartplotter app for I pad

Does any one have any experience with the Navionics app for the i pad? Does it work as well as a regular charplotter?

If you bought the right iPad with built-in GPS, the app is terrific. It may not do everything of which it is capable on a sophisticated marine chartplotter, but it certainly covers the basics.
