motor seems to load up

Ok guys
My 85 HP starts fine idles fine when cold. idle out away from docks, then i punch it to get up on plane motor bogs for a while then it get up and go. while on plane i back off a little and seems to run good but you can hear and feel a small back fire(little pop) carbs cleaned fule pump rebuilt new plugs sparks check and all 3 are fine compression 130 on all 3 cly. air mix 1 and 1/8 turned out all done a week ago.

Water in the fuel? First post in the Force Forum.Called a linc and sinc by FrankA do that.
Is the linkage opening the throttle all the way?Tank vent open?

Ok
did the link and syink and it seems to run better on land with ear muffs will try to take her on the river some time this week

if it bogs when you hit the throttle but is good on the plane you may have too big a pitch prop on it ..you can cure this with 3 10mm holes in the prop boss if its a through exhaust prop .. it lets the prop spin in aerated water then it bites and you are off ....let me know if you need a diagram
