The wife and I went to the Annapolis Power Boat Show last Sunday to check out all the latest goodies we can't afford. There were some absolutely beautiful boats including a Nor Tech center console "fishing" boat, the new Hatteras 54, and the new Seven Marine 557 outboard. All I can say is holy crap, can you imagine 1100+ hp on a 30 something foot twin OB boat??? The term "stupid fast" comes to mind. Anyway, they had one fired up and it sounded pretty nice - quieter than I would have expected. Has anybody else had the opportunity to see this thing up close?
