i just watched it last night. not a bad movie.

yep, that was the first thing that came to my mind too. they goofed, they should have stayed with the boat. that'd be the recommend procedure. however, 1 person stays with the boat, look like he had an eprib too. 4 swam. 3 swimmers got eaten and the boat and person that stayed with the boat were never found. so in the end. maybe the chance was worth it. i don't suppose ya ever know. but only the one swimmer survived. likely by pure luck in not getting snacked on. still a respectable movie.

Yeah.. She got on a channel marker or something???.. Still.. They set off in open water.. Couldn't even see land... No way.. I woulda stayed on the boat.. He might of drifted to New Zealand and became king of one of those Islands.. :p...

They had nothing as far as safety gear...

I tried to just swim a quarter mile or so once.. Thank God there was a sandbar in the middle..

It was a pretty good for that adventure horror type movie
