3.0 Mercruiser still no spark

Son's 1990 3.0 Mercruiser has full battery at ignition switch but only getting about 1.4 to the ignition amplifier. Bad connection maybe somewhere? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which ignition do you have? There is a possibility of 3.
But none of the should be only 1.4V. Bad connection somewhere.

This system has DDIS ignition. I think we need to find a wiring diagram for this system, any suggestions?
