how does the bearin go back in ? 1 seal 2 bearin 3 small clip 4 big seal 5 big clip ????

It would be enlightening for all of us if we knew which bearing on your 250 drive you are talking about, as your 250 drive has many bearings.... ;)

Here are the instructions for changing the bearings on the primary drive shaft.

firehawk, you need to tell us what you are working on. Since there is no such thing as a gimbal bearing on a 250 we are just guessing. Did you download the .pdf file I linked to? If not, download it an look at it. It's the instructions for the primary shaft bearings hoping that was what you meant when you said "Gimble"
The other problem, without knowing what engine you have, it's impossible to say which primary housing you have.
Either post some engine numbers or pictures of what you're working on.

We have no clue what you are looking at. Post a picture.
There is no such thing as a "main bearing" on a outdrive.

At this point, don't worry about trying to post the picture in the post full size, just do the first part of the tutorial. Up through step 6. We know how to click on thumbnails.

The good news is, the picture showed up fine.
The bad new is, your housing is junk.

Post some more pictures a bit further away. I see cracks, welds, and damage that just shouldn't be there.
